When I’m stressed you’re like a safety blanket
I’m aware I have difficulties coping
Having you around prevents another melt down

Communication we both need to work on it
We need to let each other know what we are thinking
Feelings as well as long as they can be identified

We see the world from completely different points of view
I try to explain my world to you but you don’t seem to understand
I don’t fully understand myself so I can’t explain it to you
Even if I do understand I’m unable to pass it along to you

I’d love to know what goes through your head as well
